Kosovo 2018 (Summer)
A short sojourn into Kosovo. We'd been advised that there was not much to see in the capital, Pristina, so we set our sights for the more interesting Prizten. Seized by almost everyone - Romans, Ottomans, Germans, Austro-Hungarians, and the Soviets - it's an eclectic place where you'll find churches and mosques built next to each other.

A 30 minute walk from the centre of town is Prizten Fortress. Perched on a hill, it's a great spot for views of the town. We were treated to a spectacular rain bomb. It seems the storm cloud could not support the weight of the rain any longer and dumped it all at speed. You can see the tails of rain whipping up the nearby hills.
