After a few years away, it was great to return home for a northern hemisphere summer to a southern hemisphere winter.  Yep, these photos are what Queensland looks like in mid-winter.  We spent a few weeks in our home town of Brisbane, and another couple in North Queensland (Mackay).  Highlights: Coolum and Noosa beaches, playing with cousins in Frew Park and Mackay, Snorkeling the Whitsundays, Whitehaven Beach, and of course catching-up with family and friends.
